What services do I offer?

I provide counseling for adults. In addition to counseling sessions in my specialty areas, I also offer consultation sessions. Sessions are provided in office, online, and by phone.

Are there other ways that I describe my therapeutic approach?

I enjoy working collaboratively with clients. I rely on evidence based methods and my resilience-informed approach is integrative in order to provide the most individualized treatment.

How long are sessions? 

Session length is 55 minutes. Longer sessions are also available. ​

What are my fees?

Individual appointments: $175/55 minutes

Couples & families: $225/70 minutes

Do I take insurance?

I am a private pay practice and am not in-network with any insurance companies. If you would like to use your out-of-network benefits, I provide the necessary documentation for you to submit to your insurance company.

What if a client has an emergency? 

As a solo practitioner in private practice, I am not able to support those who need after-hours care or crisis services. I will not be a good fit for you if you need this level of care.

If you are in crisis: please go to your nearest hospital emergency room or call 911 and ask for a Crisis Intervention Team officer.

If you or someone you know is at risk or contemplating suicide, seek help as soon as possible by contacting the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-TALK.

How do I handle scheduling?

I schedule individually by email or during your appointment time in order to sufficiently accommodate each of my clients.

Notice of Privacy Practices

Privacy Practices are provided to all new clients prior to their initial appointment and are also available through the client portal.

Confidentiality & Privacy Policy

The law protects the relationship between a client and a therapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission.

Exceptions include:

Suspected child abuse or dependant adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
If a client intends to harm themselves, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in insuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
Disclosure due to court order or subpoena. Prior to disclosure the client will be notified and the specifics of the order will be discussed.

 

Notice of Good Faith Estimate

No Surprises Act: Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
